Polish Pete and the "Polka? I hardly knew her!" Band - 1

Polish Pete and the "Polka? I hardly knew her!" Band - 1

Polka Pete and the "Polka? I hardly knew her!" Band performed on Ground Hog Day down on the 3700 Block of Main. It was like the movie "Ground Hog Day" in that every hour the band would come out and play the same set as if they were just getting started. There was even Sony and Cher music on the sounds system just before they would play. You know, the song that was playing on the radio every morning the Bill Murray character woke up.

Left to right - John "Goodtime" Smith, the drummer for the New Duncan Imperials, Allen Hill of The Allen Oldies Band, Pete "Wet Dawg" Gordon, the piano player for Mojo Nixon and Thomas Escalante, the lead singer for Clouseaux and The Suspects.
