Wait a minute, weren't stormtroopers the clonetroopers with different uniforms? Thats what I made up from Episode III

i dont even know how i know this, so it might be a bit wrong..
After Order 66 (where the clones turned on the Jedi), the Emperor decided that it was too risky to use all clone units, so used recruits/conscription to mix in with the units so the same thing could not happen to him later if someone betrayed him in the cloning process...
i think all except the 501st became mixed, and thus less effective, fighting units.
thats my nerd moment for the day. i hope its kinda right!!
