Wikipedia has an the story of the how Capa's original negatives were damaged during development at Life magazine ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Capa ), I had to simulate the effect in photoshop :)

    Great shot (FAVED) - but Thomas has a point...

    They look like they are slowly making thier way to the beach.. It's odd but I guess it is very difficult to give the real sense of motion...

    The result is quite sureal...

    Classics in Lego - by far the most creative and inspiring set of shots I've seen. One of those - "I wish I'd thought of that!" moments.

    As for the running - they're lego, not fully posable action figures. Part of the charm of these images is that they are very restricted by the components, yet the results, combined with the original, can still carry emotion and feeling. At least for me!

    Figures the publication would blame the photog before admitting a mistake. I just had to drop everything and go through this whole series, setup shots and originals as well. This is amazing work, a very creative idea. Keep it up!
