Lunch Atop a Skyscraper

A lego reconstruction of the famous 1932 photograph "Lunch atop a skyscraper" taken by Charles Ebbets

    Original : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lunch-atop-a-skyscraper-c1932.jpg

Lighting Info: The main light was a Nikon SB-28 on 1/64 power mounted on a lightstand in a shoot through brolly about 2 feet to camera left positioned slightly above the workers.

The background was lit with an SB-24 on 1/16 power with a piece of white sheet over it to being the power down even more.

The idea was to get an outdoor look to the light, which meant a big soft lightsource. The umbrella is about as close as it can be without blowing out the scene at f2.8.

Was this made prior to Jung von Matts Cannes Lion winning Lego-Ad? If so, I would be very pissed off right now...

Ah, that's what that photo was! I must admit to being quite surprised that someone else had remade that photo with a lego theme, but as mine was only taken two weeks ago I think it's just a happy coincidence.

Oh, and thanks for all the comments, favourites and blog posts everyone! I had no idea this would be so popular.
