Horseshoe bend was something I was most looking forward to on this trip - after Antelope Canyon on the list. The photos I've seen of it are just phenomenal and I really wanted to do a good job of capturing it.
I can still remember the moment I stood on the steep precipice and looked at it - my breath was taken away. It was so many times more gorgeous than any photo I've seen of it. I could sit and stare at it for hours (but then there's no time to waste - gotta get up the tripod and get to work too :P).
Launa wasn't particularly impressed by Horseshoe bend (She wasn't particularly keen on driving back there again on the last day of our trip - but seeing how excited I was about the place, was kind enough to humour me). We had a mini-adventure at HorseShoe bend on the last day, but details of that coming later (with illustrating pictures, of course).
I just love this place!
(Maybe even more than Antelope Canyon - omg.. How can even say such a
thing!)
