Facing The Future (www.facingthefuture.org) asked if my photo of basmati rice can be used in a social studies textbook in the chapter on Food.

I am grateful that my photo will be used for an educational purpose.

DO NOT use my photography WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. This means exactly as it reads.
I found my “Fried Ice Cream” photo on another blog. This dude at least added my blog link. BUT, my photography is not to be used without my permission.

I will look into charging those who use my photography without asking.

On January 21, 2012, I found my photo on a website. This photo was taken from my blog, Baking is my Zen, without my permission. There was not even mention where the photo was taken from. They just created a recipe around this photo. The hilarious part of it was they mentioned ginger. When in fact, it's apricots that are in the photo.

Anyway, if you use my photo without permission, I will make you take it down if I am aware of it.

I wrote to this person. I won't mention who it is. When she replies, I will tell her to take my photo off her website. Meanwhile, I'll wait to see if she writes back. I doubt it. After all, she's guilty.

Going forward, I will see about charging for my photos that are used without permission.

Show some class...stealers...oh, but wait, if you're the one stealing...which means, you have no class.

Just have to vent a bit...hope you photographers (with class), who read this, understand...
