Catabolis Plutonian trailed his fingers over his lips, his eyes still following hers carefully - snakecharmer. He nodded. "Bails it is. And selfishly, my first interest is in why this little kitten was following me about town." His tongue trailed across his lips quickly, absently. "Motivations intrigue me, especially when they lead a beautiful woman's eyes to surreptitiously watch me."

Bailey Longcloth would shrug, "Would you believe me if I said I was bored?" she'd smile not quite believing that herself as it left her lips. She'd glance down at her feet and look back up to him "Why did you come back to Midian?" she'd avoid answering him by asking a question of her own

Catabolis Plutonian allowed his rapier to be carried away by the parry, admiring the way she'd deftly changed the course of the conversation. His lips curled upward, a sort of distant air in his answer - a true revelation, though she'd have to read emotions well to know. "I'm not sure, love. Perhaps it's the strange gravity of this place that I can't escape, the many names and faces that call my name when I am elsewhere." He'd put his dukes back up quickly, emotionally sealed behind his jocular, casual way of speaking. "But mostly? The pretty girls. I'm glad for your boredom, love, and your simply fantastic heels."

Bailey Longcloth begins to smile and then leans back laughing out loud. She'd stretch her leg out waggling her foot a bit. "They are wonderful aren't they" She'd smile and murr, "Well, whatever your reasons, I am glad your back" She'd lean forward to look at him "I wasn't really bored you know."
