...The last of the Waterfowl Migration...
Thousands of Snow geese and waterfowl decided to leave the area this
morning,except for a few "Old Coots", seemed to be enjoying
their last bit of soft water and sunlight..
Winter is in full swing here in SD

Excellent shots, Chris, both of them. I saw a couple of coots here the other night for the first time, and no, not Gord and I. I love how their necks go when they swim. Reminded me a bit of a steam engine crank. Hope you're staying warm.

you know when you are going through some photos, they are really nice and stuff, but then you just see some and your eyes go wide open involuntariously as to capture the most of what's been seeing... and inside your brain a voice says: "wooowww!!"
