During this era, we had to choose between becoming gaudy cujines(sp?) or rockers. I see by the lack of gold chains that would make Mr, T envious, that your crew were rockers. They used to call us "hics," by some IROC drivers cruising underneath the El on 86th Street. This was prior to Mayor Guiliani's time in office. Now it a wasteland of 99 cent stores and Russian delicatessens. No more Chess King stores that sold Chams De Baron shirts, or FILA satin sweat suits, all gone, just a memory.
