Cheers fella.

I took this particular one ages ago - I'd been out all day drinking and taking photos of dodgy boozers in town. I got back to Huyton round 12.30 in the morning, and saw the world in a slightly different way!!!

Check out the set in slideshow form.

My eye view on the way home.

That look like the 'cinder path' that runs between the graveyard and the playing fields? Best viewed on a dark, fogy, night; when the lights aren't working ;-)

@ Andy - I fiddle around with colour saturation and hues, plus contrasts post production

@ Alli Cat - The Cinder Path- thats it. God I'd totally forgotten the "name" for it!!!

Cheers!!!

Very spooky, very threatening, very evil and just plain old not nice. What fate awaits one at the end of the alley? Chilling shot.

That's a fave. Bloody brilliant juxtaposition of familiar community menace.

This really does feel strangely sinsister, and I really can't put my finger on why, but it's bloody brilliant!

Congrats, Simon. Goodonya, mate -- I've been telling you that Badgerland photos are just as cool as The Badger Revolution's! just two parts of your one well-honed vision -- hey ya got two eyes, don't ya?!

I really love this shot - so mysterious, but beautiful at the same time. The misty effect is fabulous. May I ask, what kind of camera did you use?

Clangerland says:

Hooray!!!!!!!!

@emj192 - this was my Nikon D70s. Taken on a dark and foggy night. The world actually had an orange glow to it (check out

www.flickr.com/photos/badgerland/564640285/in /set-7215760...

for how the light pollution reflected off the mist). I made a conscious decision first off to post produce this in B&W however........really wanted a more "noir" look to the image.

Once more....Hoooray!!!!
