Gunpowder River, Falls Rd access at 24 Cfs  The Gunpowder River can get low during drought years. Trout survive low flows because of the bottom release at Prettyboy Dam, which pulls 44-52 degree water at these times. Note the mist rising off the water as midday temperatures increase.
