      מאת טים ברטון.

      לאדון וגברת נפחי היו חיים נהדרים.
      הם היו זוג שקט ורגיל - איש ואשה מאושרים.
      יום אחד התבשרו בשורה, ומר נפחי היה נלהב:
      מרת נפחי תהיה לאמא, כלומר הוא יהיה לאב!

      אבל משהו השתבש ואושרם היה קצר
      לא היה זה בן-אנוש אלא ילד-רובוט מוזר!
      הוא לא היה חמים וחינני ולא עורר שום חשק לגיפוף
      ובמקום עור ורדרד ריחני, עטה פח על כל הגוף.

      כבלים ותיילים הזדקרו לו מהראש ומהאזניים
      והוא רק שכב שם, לא חי ולא מת, ובהה בשתי העיניים.
      המצב היחיד שבו נראה חי בכלל
      היה כשחובר בכבל אל שקע החשמל.

      מר נפחי צעק על הדוקטור: "מה עשית לילדי הרך?
      זה לא ילד בשר ודם אלא איזו סגסוגת פח"

      הדוקטור היה עדין מאד: "מה שאגיד עכשיו ישמע אולי מופרך
      אך אתה אינך האב של תינוק הפח.
      אמנם לקבוע את מינו המדע עוד אינו מסוגל,
      אך ניתן לאשש היפותזה שאביו היה מיקרוגל"

      בביתה של משפחת נפחי שררו מעתה אומללות וקטטה
      גברת נפחי שנאה את בעלה והוא שנא אותה.
      כי הוא לא סלח לה לעולם על הקשר הטמא המופרך
      על הרפתקאת הסקס שלה עם המתקן שם במטבח.
