Sudan 5

This shot was taken in the deserts of northern Sudan. We had stoppped at this small shelter with dirt floor for a cup of fresh-brewed arabic coffee. Except for the door, this small hole in the brick wall was the only opening the shelter had. Wanting a better look at the America visitor, this young girl found a way to ease her curiousity.

thank you all... :) this shot was taken after a six-hour drive into the desert of northern sudan.. we were sitting on the dirt floor of this place when all of a sudden this child's face shows up in the 'window'. the light on the face was too perfect not to take this picture...!
