nextwebsalon034

On September 19, 2008 we will hold the second edition of The Next Web Salon in Amsterdam. The Next Web Salon is a small and intimate event for people working on, or interested in, the people, ideas and companies powering the Next Web.

The formula is simple: 60 people will get together in Amsterdam, in my house, where we will serve high quality homemade food and good wine to everyone. There will be a few short and inspiring presentations by interesting guests from all over the world. In these 10 minute presentations they will talk about something interesting they did, read, wrote or experienced recently. There will be opportunity to ask questions and discuss the presentations with speakers and attendees afterwards.

Because there is limited space we will invite you first and then, if there is space left, offer the remaining seats on our blog. The price of attending will be €74,99 (inc taxes) and will include food and drinks.

This second edition of the Next Web Salon will have the following speakers:

Michael Shanks
Description: Omar and Althea Dwyer Hoskins Professor of Classical Archaeology at Stanford University, a Director of Stanford Humanities Lab, Director of Metamedia in Stanford Archaeology Center, and a founder of Stanford Strategy Center.

Peter van Waart
Description: Lecturer Creative Marketing and Experience Branding and Researcher Human Centered ICT at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Dennis Koks
Description: Designer for interactive media, Co-founder & designer at Transparent Spaces, infrequent blogger at www.johnnyholland.nl and 4th year Communication & Multimedia Design student at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences where I focus on User Experience Design.

Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten
