Elbe ValleyRiver Elbe seen from some rocks of the so-called Saxon Switzerland. The little mountain range has been declared a national park and is called "Elbsandsteingebirge" in the German language. The name derives from the sandstone which was carved by erosion. The river Elbe breaks through this range in a steep and narrow valley. In the back you can see the village "Wehlen". South-east Germany.
