161007 perons tree frog

    The easiest to find of the seven species of frogs around home. They like using pipes or concrete tanks to echo their calls.

      LeE cHuEn: I placed the frog on a vine leaf on top of a torch at night. I took 3 exposures(0.2 to 1.6 sec.) and combined them with HDR software to bring out the skin and semi-transparent detail.

      This is excellent, the light from beneath gives the frog a special glow and shows all of the detail on the leaf :)

      Very, very nice. The bounced light produces almost a translucent effect on the frog.
