easiest cat toy ever

easiest cat toy ever

Cut a rectangular piece of polar fleece - doesn't have to be an exact size, mine were roughly 5" x 9" though they could have been a bit narrower. Next time I'll probably go with maybe 4" x 9"

Put about a tablespoon of loose catnip in the center.

Fold the two long edges over the center - you now have a long, narrow rectangle.

Take the two long ends and tie a knot so the catnip it in the center.

Toss it to your kitty and laugh at their antics. =) You could even trim the ends into fringe if you want.

(Baxter's actually watching Phoebe roll around the living room floor with one. heh)

the vacuum - the great equalizer

the vacuum - the great equalizer

THIS does not happen. Baxter does not like Reilly... at all. Reilly normally, wisely, stay out of paw's reach of Baxter... until the vacuum comes out. Doggie beds are no longer safe zones when the big purple monster comes out growling. Today, Reilly took refuge with Baxter on the rocker. lol I guess this was the lesser of two evils. Baxter, however, doesn't look too thrilled with his seatmate. heh

pantry shelf AFTER

pantry shelf AFTER

I plan to eventually get magnetic knife bars to mount the spice tins either on the inside of cabinet doors or under narrow shelving, but for now the glass and stainless steel lazy susan works well. =)
