What is this?

Someone getting a phonecall? ;-)

You'll get these at long exposures if you have dust on the sensor. Mostly it's not visible if you look on it.

Actually, I suspect that's filter flare. Cool shot!

My favorite fair shot (tho I didn't take many). While the wheel spun, it also raised up to nearly vertical. I was annoyed that they turned off all the lights but the center strobe, but it allowed for a really long exposure (20 secs) and captured the fading light in a cloudy sky and these lovely subtle swirly smooth colors.

I dig it.

this photo is a little creepy for me. I shot nearly a similar set up in Alaska this spring, but you got a much better shot. These carnies must set their fairs up the same accross the country. I don't have any reallly wide lens' for my canon20D. So I went for something a little closer.

I actually enjoy this so much more with the lights off. All the shots are so lights on, kinda hot, but this is so much more smooth looking without the blareing lights. the colors show so much better as well.
