glowing wheel

My favorite fair shot (tho I didn't take many). While the wheel spun, it also raised up to nearly vertical. I was annoyed that they turned off all the lights but the center strobe, but it allowed for a really long exposure (20 secs) and captured the fading light in a cloudy sky and these lovely subtle swirly smooth colors.

I dig it.

Taken at a tiny Ohio fair when I was traveling back east for the weekend.

Superb! I've been trying to get this effect at the Boardwalk for a little while, beautifully done!

Looks like I've gotta try it at twilight with the 'pod and some patience.

By the way, I love how it looks like a huge ashtray!

My favourite too! The long exposure produces such a sense of speed... I want to be on it but yet it looks terrifying.

looks like toys. you could replace the real people with Barbie and Kens (she dumped Ken though, too boring. can't remember what her new bloke is called), without it looking too surreal.
    amazing shot.

The only thing better than riding on crazy rides that are so fun they make you turn green is taking wonderful images of them. Excellent.
