here's one , two, three , four . Of course I can't find the original image that I mentioned. It was so similar to yours (even taken around sunrise), only the kitty was sitting on that old, decaying truck instead of the Thing. Now I must find that image!

Early morning rich light and a polarizer at the perfect angle to make a really dark sky. I almost always do a little localized dodging of highlights and burning of shadows, toned in PS as well. Hmmm... nothing fancy, really! Thanks!

Slick. The high-contrast prep with the black sky is dramatic (like Adams' later, more operatic printing jobs). The flow and motion of the shot is excellent.
