This T-38 is flown by the Boeing Aircraft Corp as a chase plane. As far as I know, this was the first time that Boeing brought one of their T-38s to Grand Junction, CO.

It is owned by the Boeing Company and not the military that is why it has an "N" number and is experimental. This is the only T-38 that Boeing has.

If an aircraft is labeled as experimental then you have a bit more flexability as to what you ca do with it. All our L-39s that we support are experimental.
