Thin Client Surgery

Thin Client Surgery by Bryan Veloso.
After getting the hard drive out of the Vaio, I needed to somehow get Xubuntu on there. So after taking what seemed like days researching about not only the best Linux distro for old laptops and finding out how to install from a USB stick did I finally get to the point of execution.

That execution took 6 hours. Slowest. Hard Drive. Ever.

(I used an HP thin client that was lying around to do the install, since I didn't want to monopolize any other computers in the process.)
