Tylertown Mississippi Post Office Mural

New Deal mural entitled "Rural Mississippi-From Early Days to Present" painted by Lucile Blanch in 1941. It is painted directly onto the wall using the tempera technique.

As of Sept 2020 the USPS had called for this mural to be covered pending a decision about it's possible removal due to complaints of it's depiction of slavery. But as of January 1, 2021 it was not covered.
