Despite my predisposition against tilt shit (edit: Freudian slip there) style shots due to their over abundance, I do think this shot suits it and I like. So although I don't want to encourage a further deluge of them I going to go with...

Third This says:

Its a great action shot and you were certainly in the right spot at the right time. However, wherever you got this blur from, either lensbaby or gausin blur in PS, it does some strange things to the image. The wall on the left, I take it is on one plane yet the center is focused while the top and bottom are blurred - I'd just crop that left wall off and most of the right wall up to the building that is on fire. Something makes this look like a picture of a Lego set. What's up with the arch in the street? Is that lens distortion? This looks like Mr. Rodger's neighborhood on fire - wait, maybe I should save it, nah.

it's a good photo journalism shot, but i'm not ok with your focus. A lot of important things aren't clear, and a big part of uninteressing space is clear.

sloppy with the lens-blur masking; the brick building edge on the left should be totally blurred, or cropped out.

i agree with nelgallen on the over use of tilt shift, but that doesn't make this a bad photo - in fact it is one of the best of this genre i've seen

however third this is right about the crop - for a shot of a building on fire i keep looking at the wall on the left.....which despite past misdemeanors, i probably shouldn't be distracted by
