My son's preschool is going a fundraiser in March and I wanted to do an option where the winner could pick a lampwork letter (a child's initial) for a custom made necklace.
I had imagined a fancy block-letter-meets-calligraphy, even to the point where I had sketched out all the letters. You can see how well that turned out. At least the bold block letters look okay. Once it gets above -35F in my studio I'll have to go back and finish out the alphabet.
How do you think the holes should go? Across so they could be worn on a necklace cord or bracelet, or up and down so they can hang like a pendant?
