Araleya; Thank you visiting `early uploaded pic. I am very glad (^_^) It is so to said savanna, it rains 100 mm a year or so, then water is enogh for support many trees. In Isan, it is not because of climate but by agriculture system trees stands like this. Sometimes it looks like savanna. So there was (is?) world vesitation map which mistook to classify Isan as savanna. I happened to find a pic in Isan which looks like this. I will upload it soon later. (^_^)
THere is a word "deer line" When you traveled to Europe, you might have seen trees in the park or so, trimmed not only on the top, but also at some our eye hight on the bottom. That is simulated "deer line" in the forest where deers are abundant. I am not sure there is a word "Giraffe line" (^_^)
