Velib bike stationAfter getting the "abonnement" press here to release the bike Status light: green: Bike ok to rent (or bike returned sucessfully). Red: Bike or station is unavailable (damaged) Yellow: When returning a bike, after clicking the bike into place, the light will turn yellow, then green. this means that the velib system has registered your bike as "returned". If you have linked your "Navigo" metro pass to the Velib system (only available by applying for a 1 year "abonnement"), you can place your "Navigo" pass here and release a bike automatically (much quicker than a daily "abonnement"). Station Number: When using the terminals to rent a bike, you will need to select an available station. Best to pick out a bike first, then remember its station so you won't have to get out of the line (queue). when returning your bike make sure the light changes status (green, yellow, green). The return slot is a little tricky. The bike should slide easily into the slot, then "click" into place. If it doesn't, then try slightly moving the bike from side to side to get the slot to accept the bike.

velibobsession.blogspot.com/ If the system is really busy (afternoons on weekends) the light status will be delayed (slow). So, if you may have to wait 5-15 seconds for the system to acknowledge the new status. CommentsWould you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
