s&co books... some old, some new, all fun to look through. A favorite bookstore in the latin quarter of many english-speakers (and readers). There´s something lonely about a stack of old dusty books... but still hopeful.

Of all the thousands I've photos I've taken in over 22 countries, the one b&w of a stack of dusty books taken without even thinking gets over 2500 views! But, I do like it. Something about the light/shadow balance... S&Co (the bookstore where this was done) must have been reviewing new arrivals to be 'retired'. The 2nd floor is where books go that the owner doesn't want to sell or just can't so it's a very fun to place to sit for a while and see what you find.

Hi austinevan, I guess I'm one of the 2500 that's seen this picture! I had a similar picture that I took without thinking and it also got over 1000 views, it's a weird feeling isn't it? Especially after I put so much effort into a bunch that only my parents saw :)
