A visit from the Easter Bunny
This afternoon we had a visitor in our backard. Yes folks the Easter
Bunny. He probably belongs to one of the kids in the neighbourhood and
decide to escape and explore the big wide world. We spent ages trying
to catch him but he is just way too quick. He has decided to make the
fresh cut grass next to the compost his new home and that was where he
was this evening before it got dark. Im hoping he is still around
tommorrow because the nieces are coming over for an easter egg hunt in
the morning.

This really is the Easter Bunny!
I'm reminded of humorist David Sedaris' story about Easter while studying French in Paris. I won't get the story exactly right, but the class was talking about the meaning of Easter ( speaking in French, so he thought he misunderstood their understanding of Easter). When he brought up the bunny everybody just roared because "What would a rabbit have to do with the resurrection of Christ?". Everybody knew he was must be making that up.
By the way, I won't tell you how I catch bunnies except that it is a truely American method.

A further update on the Easter Bunny,we couldnt find him anywhere this morning. However the nieces, saw him sitting on the front lawn yesterday morning when they drove past our house.
