The bulbs are now merrily blooming in my garden (and so are the weeds)and I have taken a stack of photos but have not had the time to post them lately. I planted about half a dozen black tulips in autumn and they are now flowering, so are the ranuculars, anenomes and various other bulbs.

Louise, the color is so velvety rich. I like the area where where the flower meets the stem. The color shift doesn't seem possible. Is it spring already? We seem to be in perpetual summer here?
