One of my New Years Resolutions was to carry a camera with me all the
time. Today I went to visit my sister and just happened to pass a
market garden that had rows and rows of sunflowers. The gentleman who
owned the property was at his mail box so I asked him if he wouldnt
mind if I took some pictures. He told me to come onto the property so
that I could get closer. The dark background is a grove of trees.
The only thing I regret is that the sun was still pretty harsh. It
would have been better to take this early evening but time did not
permit

Some New Year resolutions are worth keeping .. you have just proven it ! I actually like the light .. they it really sets off their petals having it backlit as they are. Beautifully composed .. I'll be he'd be happy to use this in his advertising material !!
