The Gun
My father's gun. Brought back from World War 2 and never discussed while he was alive. What does it mean?

Hello, Auraelius. I'm making a short audio slide show, and this photo would fit the audio I have of folks talking about guns. Is it cool if I use it? I will of course attribute it to you.

Read the blog post... Interesting. As a veteran of the Iraq War I can understand why your father rarely talked about the war, I saw/did/felt things I never dreamed of, and I'm sure he seen worse. It is hard to talk about and I normally don't; most people I know have no clue. But there is a big part of me that just wants to scream out and tell the world what war really is... but in reality no one could comprehend it unless they have actually been through it.
