12/365 DAY 36 SMOKE FREE!

MAJOR accomplishment on my part and am allowing myself for a pat on the ole back -well done to me!

But, am reminded that it was hearing the news of my dad's lung cancer diagnosis that sprung me into action. I hope he will be ok. I am glad i quit after smoking for 20 years.

Good for you! My mom just died from lung cancer four weeks ago. And I watch all of her siblings as well as my own, continue to smoke. It's got to be tough. Good luck!

Congratulations. It took me three attempts to quite smoking...the last was cold turkey and it did the trick, I've been cigarette free for about 26 months now!! Feels good doesn't it?

Great impact on the picture. Hey that is huge. A very big deal. Celebrate every day. As of Sept 14th 2007 it has been 5325 days for me. A pack a day or 106,500 cigerettes I've lived without. Saving me about $15,000 over 13 years. I may not be 15K richer but I feel healthier than I did when I smoked. I hope you kept it up an keep it up. Good Luck.
