    Actually, as this is corn, I suppose it is technically wrong to call it the Breakfast of Champions. What is the corn flakes logo?

      With corn cakes, corn bread, corn pone, Johnny cake, hoe cake, hopping John, corn meal mush, grits, all kinds of corn flour southwestern dishes like tortillas, and polenta if you want an Italian name to pretend it isn't a new world food, breakfast, lunch and dinner all probably all have corn in them in some fashion. Did I mention corn syrup? USA is a corny country and I love it.

      Sorry, I got carried away (can you tell I read a cook book called I Hear America Calling?). I love this.

      (I was kidding about polenta. Heavens, where would we be with Italian tomato sauces? NO PIZZA)

      Oops, the name of the cook book is I Hear America Cooking by Betty Fussel. I don't know why I typed calling.
