I love this whole series. Where were these taken?

They were taken at my local library in the local history reference section. I was looking for info on local graveyards because I've been taking a lot of graveyard and cemetery photos lately. The photography almost took over my research!

cool idea to take your camera to the library. why didn't i ever think of that? i love the way you capture the paper texture as well as the content of these historic texts. very nice series.

Hello,
My friend and I are trainee librarians working on a non-commercial public engagement project about how readers annotate texts, and we have used this lovely image of an annotation in the new project blog (http://playingthemargins.tumblr.com/ )
Many thanks for sharing this image,
Siân

Sorry not to reply sooner - we are studying in London, at UCL. Would love to be studying by the sea at Aber though!
