I've been meaning to say how much I love this portrait, your new icon, since I saw it. It's beautiful and cracks me up everytime I see it. Major Morticia fan here but however hard I try to effect a look like that I still look "cute ish" - Wednesday ; { . I suspect Morticia is a significant player in your psyche, neh?

My psyche? Well I'm not sure. I was a gothic type in the 80s and still tend to verge towards that theme. On Hallowe'en it's the safe standby ... the wig has long tangled itself into another dimension but the dress still works (and fits!). I guess it's just a face I know I can do.

ps work? Do you mean PhotoShop? I don't use that but I use PaintShopPro. All I had to do was remove a few distracting bits of light from the background, but not much. It was a self portrait, camera held at arm's length, and you could just about make out my arms and a few little details in the background.
