We think the detail is ok in the larger sizes although though it also reveals a few stitching errors

Time for the three of us to run off to the beach for some swimming, sand-castle building, bbq-ing and perhaps to take a few pics. Look forward to catching up with your inspiring photography in a couple of weeks.

This one was taken a while back near Anglesea on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.

Strobist: Flower placed on black plastic/vinyl placemat inside a Strobist $10 Macro Photo Studio*. Back wall of SMPS covered with black card. 430ex fired into SMPS directly right of rose. 580ex ii fired into studio above and slightly in front of rose. 580ex ii triggered with off-camera shoe cord. 430ex slaved. Underexposed ambient to deepen blacks

Strobist: white card behind bowl of milk containing blue food dye. Milk coloured with red food dye dropped into bowl. Bare 580exii and 430ex about 45 degrees left and right between bowl and camera. 580exii triggered via off-camera shoe cord. 430ex slaved. Rear curtain sync.
