AU Study Abroad - Jordan |
Starting in summer 2008, Auburn
University will collaborate with the
Marine Science Station in Aqaba, Jordan,
to offer a National Science
Foundation-funded program of paid
international research experiences in
field ecology to 5-10 undergraduate and
graduate students during 4 weeks in June
each year. Students will be paired with
scientists from Auburn University and
the Marine Science Station to conduct
research on population dynamic modeling
and metabolic interactions between giant
sea anemones and symbiotic anemonefish
on Red Sea coral reefs.
