2009 Golden Eagles Reunion

The Auburn University campus is filling up with Golden Eagles today as alumni from the classes of 1933, 1934, 1938, 1939, 1943, 1944, 1948, 1949, 1953, 1954, 1958 and 1959 wing their way into Auburn for the Golden Eagles Reunion Weekend. This year’s new Golden Eagles, the classes of 1958 and 1959, are among the last students to attend school at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute.

Over the weekend, the alumni will have a chance to get reacquainted, attend AU athletics events (including a baseball game against ‘Bama), and participate in a new “Golden Eagles Scholarship” that will provide opportunities for future generations of Auburn students.
