Establishing Shot: The 405

Put monorail here
primo idea!
There is no way the highway, oil and auto lobbies would allow it!
BRT would be ideal!
this stretch of the 405, btw Sepulveda and Venice Blvd, sucks BAWLS.
Establishing Shot: The 405 by Atwater Village Newbie.
5,000+ views! This is I-405 on the west side. This is Los Angeles, without a doubt.

When you repeat this scene on a massive scale worldwide - whether your view point is a peak oil perspective or concern about climate changing emissions the implications and corresponding urgent imperative for socio-cultural transition towards a sustainable version of the future is compelling.

PlanetEye LogoYou may want to add your photo to the group PlanetEye - travel beyond words. A very small group of photographers are being invited and the best photos will be included in a new online travel guide.

Why do you have not much comments on this picture?? It looks beautifull to see all the trafic. Maybe cause its a normal shot to see that much traffic in LA ?

Everyday, all day the 405 from the 10 to LAX is jammed except between 3 AM and 5 AM. This is a so typical it's unremarkable. Nice picture, though.
