Journey into the backwoods of Oregon with Eric Singer and crew to construct a community hideaway in the trees. The over sized nest is intended to inspire others to make the trek into the woods surrounding Mt. Hood. Those who successfully locate the fort are encouraged to add onto the structure and share with others. The first person to discover the nest will be greeted with a free pair of sunglasses stashed inside! Happy hunting...

Combining his carpentry skills with his love of nature, Patrick Dougherty utilizes primitive techniques of building to experiment with tree saplings as construction material. Since beginning in 1980, Patrick has left his mark with over two hundred massive sculptures all over the world.
