Hugs from Nice.

Many hugs from the salt and pepper shakers. Vending stall at Marché aux Fleurs, Nice.
It was my idea, but this photo is taken by my husband. I held the umbrella.

I simply love this picture. I'm in the beginning of a photography course and our homework this week is to play with the aperture setting. I'm taken to not only the color, but how the eye is drawn to the middle 'huggers'.

Ah this is a really nice pic! I was at the market this summer and saw these EVERYWHERE! They looked so funny and weird, and I just couldn't figure out whether they were aesthetic enough for a photo or not...but you clearly proved me wrong! For all of you wondering, the salt & pepper shakers were designed by Alberto Mantilla of Mint. You can buy 'em at the MoMA store, though the street knock-offs are more colorful (and cheaper).
