How to Know when Someone's Lying
If they don't make eye contact when answering, or fidget constantly, they may be lying.
Look at the person's eyes. When someone is being dishonest, the eyes will widen and the pupils will dilate.
See if they fidget around with their hands or feet (ex. scratching their head, nose, neck, etc.) or touch their mouth and try to cover their words with their hand.

This sounds all well and good, but since I can't see any of those cues right now I can't tell for sure. ;)

Pinochio miente... 100% seguro... más no creo que sea para colgarlo... me parece demasiado!

you know what from your description it seems that i'm lying pretty often... :P
better idea would be to use Pinocchio-meter or sth :P

What if you never see the person?... there must be some subtle indicators for well-intentioned but visionless communcation as well... ;)

mejor le hago caso al tag y desobedezco estas instrucciones! ;o)

Haha, I love your tags!
You have to wonder about some of the tips these so called 'body language experts' give. And I love your little pinnochio toy btw! : )

Chris, I´d be lying if I told I knew any of those indicators.

Por el ojo que se le alcanza a ver, parece que Pinocho está realmente asustado... seguro que para la próxima mentira, se la pensará dos veces!. Ya en serio, I really like the perspective and the idea :)

"pinocchio hanging ceremony".
HaHa. Excellent!!
Pinnochio's eyes are dilated for sure. Of course, he has no ears...so he doesn't listen to the truth either. Poor boy. :)
Hmmmmm.

Your clever commentary and different photos are quite interesting to look at and read about.
You forgot one thing about someone not being able to look directly at you. Very shy people do the same thing! Not only that, but they find it hard to even look at you.
