As a study of someone with exposed shoulder blades carrying two imaginary shopping bags it works, but that distracts somewhat from the mountain view

I would love to hike there, but if I were to submit a picture of the scenery, I might wait until the sun had a better angle, or find something else to put in the composition so it didn't look like the 1.5e+9 nature shots out there.

If you want to shoot the person you need to shoot them much closer I think. If you want to take a picture of mountains get rid of the person. People & majestic scenery at the same time is hard to pull off unless you're submitting something to the MEC catalogue.
