russian neighborhood and residences

In America cities, we have suburbs and houses. In Moscow, they have apartments. We rent apartments, they own theirs. Houses are very uncommon in a metropolitan city in Moscow. This was a strange thing to see. Walking around, driving around, and seeing no houses at all. It felt eery sometimes.
