‘I went to space and all I got was this lousy T-shirt’

    Tussen de spullen die met het vrachtschip Progress omhoog zijn gebracht, zaten ook leuke cadeautjes. Een ervan is een uniek T-shirt van Fokke en Sukke, speciaal voor mij getekend door Jean-Marc van Tol. Met de tekst ‘I went to space and all I got was this lousy T-shirt’.

    There were also a few gifts amongst the goods delivered by the Progress cargo spacecraft. One of them is a unique T-shirt with the popular Dutch cartoon 'Fokke en Sukke'. Specially designed for me by Jean-Marc van Tol, the text reads: ‘I went to space and all I got was this lousy T-shirt’.

      Heel leuk dat T shirt van Fokke en Sukke.
      Ze zijn meestal heel goed met hun tekeningen, lees ze dagelijks op hun website en hun jaar boekjes.

      Hope that you can keep it. Usually, the worn (dirty) T-shirts are not washed or taken back to Earth but disposed as waste: put in the empty Progress and burned during that transporter's re-entry in the atmosphere. With a bit of luck we could see your shirt as a shooting star then ...
