Visitor Welcome Card
We needed - desperately needed - a new card to put in the coffee cups we give to visitors. The card is 1/3 sheet of 81/2x11 paper and sits in a way that the top piece sticks just above the rest of the stuff in the cup. What do you think?
And I know the kid is a little creepy - besides that ? :)

This piece feels conflicted. The fonts, colors, images don't mesh with each other well, and I don't think it's communicating what you really want to communicate to visitors: we're glad you're here and we'd really like to see you again.
I love the image of the kid, actually, just not for this piece.
You probably need to sit down and think of what you want to communicate. Most visitors don't want to "get connected" after their first visit. They want to find out more information about the heart of the church, maybe meet some people, but they aren't interested in volunteering. Using your "in" words like Core Classes (what is a core class? I'm a visitor. I don't know!) is not going to draw their interest. Write down key words that describe your church, and work to integrate them into your piece.
This feels like a list of your programs. What you need is an insight into the personality of your church. An invite back to next week. Maybe a coupon off at your coffee bar/bookstore/whatever? Images of who your church is.
Could you make this a "blank template" that you could print on each week? The header and imagery could stay the same, but you could have a section for upcoming events (title "Get To Know Us" or "Get Involved"), for current series or small group or core class, with lots of helpful info about that specific thing that you're inviting them back to be a part of.
OK, that's my 2 cents.
