Precious memories
This shot was inspired by today's FGR pick of Interpreting Beatles songs. Paperback Writer is one of my favourite Beatles songs - it reminds me of going out in my younger days when I first met my husband as we used to love going to sixties nights. (Anyone in Birmingham remember The Ship Ashore - now demolished?)
This is a keepsake book I've just started for my daughter. I started to keep a notebook last year and didn't get round to keeping it up. I found this fab book recently which has photo pages and little pockets to put things in as well as lined pages to write on. It's perfect - especially as it's also black, silver and purple. I finally got round to writing in it today. Hopefully this will be a monthly thing and I can put my photo a week project of her in there too.
Also for Theme of the Week: Gratitude. Every day I am so grateful for the wonderful gift that is my daughter. She is a constant source of wonder to me and I am so grateful that she came into our lives. I want to remember all the little things that make her so special, hence the book.
Oh, and this is SOOC, other than a simple conversion to B&W :-)

love the idea and the shot! Wonderful love letter to your daughter! Daughters are so incredibly special; I feel I now have more insight into part of what was my Mom's life experience--too late for gratitude on my part, she is gone. But I feel it now just the same.

It is so sweet and also so touching that you keep the book for your little princess! I am much less organised - i put the stuff about my little boy in my diary and in terms of pictures - well they are everywhere...
i agree that he is the most preciouse i ve got and really even he is 20 months old i am learning from him everyday.
