For those of you who have come to 'know' me a bit through my photos you can imagine that this is one of my favorite quotes.

Since I was a child I have found myself waiting impatiently each year for Autumn to arrive. Born in the Autumn I have always been a 'child of Autumn.' Now, living in the mountains (which is my dream come true) ... well, when Autumn hits the mountains I am truly in heaven.

Terrific shot and commentary Beverly. I am not surprised that that quote fits you so well. Is it Autumn there alread?. The temps here are still in the 90's. I'm sad that we missed our trip out to Jackson Hole, in fact if we had done the trip we would have been leaving Yellowstone now for Salt Lake City. I hope to do it next year. Anyway, awesome photo as always..

I'm also a child of autumn, (9/26) and it never occurred to me that perhaps this is why the days of September/October are my favorite; even though we don't experience the spectacular colors and change of seasons that you do, there is something about the angle of the sun and the light that is so appealing in the fall.
