Khotaaa - The most popular desi sawari
It's been said that the biggest contributor in the making of Islamabad, Pakistan' capital, is this very animal - Donkey.
You'll find it in abundance in Lahore - but the saddest thing is in quite bad conditions - almost manhandled state.
I always feel special love and caring for this very animal ... that's why you can hear me saying kitna januu khota hay while on Lahori roads after every few minutes :)

I too agree. Donkeys must be treated the way a horse or mule get. Anyhow good news for you ASMA! Market price of Donkeys are up to 25,000Rs in Karachi now-a-days. Even some gangs in Karachi are kidnapping donkeys for ransom. :)

ever experienced to see a khota race :D
they have a specially designed single person cart called a radaa which is only used for khota race.
