The little socks that could

First this yarn started out as this sock, but that was quickly frogged and became this sock, which turned hideous pretty fast and got frogged. The yarn seemed destined for abandonment until Elin suggested dividing the skein in half and knitting with both halves striping in the same direction, and it worked out way better. And whaddyaknow - I ended up with a finished pair of socks!
